This last weekend Brian and I had the pleasure of meeting Ralph and his mom, Emily. Ralph is 5 months old and has fat rolls for days (totally acceptable at this age!) Emily and her husband adopted Ralph. The adoption story brought me to tears, because as Emily told it, it was clear everything fell perfectly into place because these people were meant to be Ralph's mommy and daddy. Their home was a beautiful, old Victorian adorned in furnishings that all told a story. Our goal was to capture Ralph in that story. These are some of the photos from that day. Ralph is a sweet, gentle happy soul. I hope we get to photograph his next steps in life and watch him grow into a happy active little boy!
